Lake Albert Soccer Club Trivia Night
The Club is holding a Trivia Night on Friday 6th August 2010 at the Thomas Blamey Tavern. View the Trivia Night Flyer to find out all the information about this event. Bring your team mates, family and friends along for a fantastic evening of games, auctions and many laughs.
Ground Closures
Wagga Wagga Ciy Council has advised Football Wagga Wagga and Clubs that all sporting grounds are closed until Wednesday 4th August 2010. After this they will inspect all grounds and advise the status of grounds. The Club will advise all of our Coaches when the grounds will re-open when we have been updated by Wagga Wagga City Council and Football Wagga Wagga.
Update 28th July 2010 - Junior Football Cancelled 31 July 2010
The Wagga Wagga City Council has advised Football Wagga Wagga and Clubs that the Wagga Wagga Promotional Event will be at Bolton Park on Saturday 31 July 2010. Football Wagga Wagga has now advised that the OSSF games being held at Bolton Park have been cancelled.
This means that all Small Sided Football games being played at Bolton Park are cancelled. All other junior football will be played on 31 July.
Wagga Football Grounds
Wagga Wagga City Council has advised that all grounds are open to play and train. Games being held at Bolton Park this Saturday 24 July will take place.
Junior Football Update
Football Wagga Wagga has advised the Club that they will be reviewing all junior draws to ensure that all competitions are fair and equitable with the recent cancelled games. Should any of the draws change we will notify all coaches.
Change to Senior Draw 18th July 2010

Closure of Football Wagga Wagga Grounds
Lake Albert Soccer Club has been advised by Football Wagga Wagga of the following:
"Due to the unforeseen weather and the impact it has had on sports grounds, Football Wagga Wagga in consultation with WWCC have closed all grounds used by Clubs in Wagga Wagga for all training and games until Monday 19th July.
This will enable the playing surfaces to be rested and give optimum usage for the remainder of the season and the final series for all members in our sport from Under 6s to All Age Males and Females"

Junior Coaches Meeting
All coaches of junior teams are asked to attend a club general meeting being held in the Function Room at the Thomas Blamey Tavern, Main Street, Lake Albert on Wednesday 30 June 2010 at 7:30pm. Please be there on time as there are a number of items to be covered. Thanks in advance.
Amended Junior Draws
The Under 10 Green, Under 11 Green, Under 15s, and the Junior and Senior Girls draws have been amended by Football Wagga Wagga. Please visit the 2010 Draws page to get an up-to-date draw for your age group.
Wagga Holiday Camp
Football NSW are holding a school holiday camp for children aged 5 - 13 years. The camp will be coordinated by Roy Thomas the Riverina Development Officer and is hosted by Tolland Football Club. This camp will give the players a chance to be coached by qualified Football NSW Instructors. For more information click here.

Rawlings Park Safety
Could all parents please ensure they drive safely on Saturdays and Sundays at Rawlings Park, particularly Angel Street. There are many excited kids running around and whilst the speed limit is 50km/h, a reduced speed on Saturdays will ensure the safetly of everyone. Please also ensure you park safely and sensibly.
